What is a Round Robin Bet? Round Robin Betting Explained | BookieBrawler
A round robin bet is, how it works, when to use it, and how it compares to a standard parlay. Complete guide with examples.
How Round Robin Bets Work
Let's say you like three teams: Chiefs, Lakers, and Yankees. Instead of one 3-leg parlay, a round robin creates three separate 2-leg parlays:
If two of your three picks win, you still profit from the parlay containing those two winners - even though the third pick lost.
- Parlay 1: Chiefs + Lakers
- Parlay 2: Chiefs + Yankees
- Parlay 3: Lakers + Yankees
Round Robin vs. Parlay
- Parlay: One bet, all legs must win. Higher payout, higher risk.
- Round Robin: Multiple smaller parlays. Lower max payout, but you can lose a pick and still profit.
When to Use Round Robins
- When you like several picks but don't want to risk losing everything on one bad leg
- As a hedge on larger parlays
- When you have 4+ strong picks and want diversified exposure
